PARTNER FAQ

The questions your firm should ask.

If the answer you need is not here, we’ll address it directly during the partner demo.

Talk to the partner team
Is Sumung a white-label platform?+

No. Sumung is co-branded. Your firm remains the primary professional relationship while the client interface identifies Sumung as the technology provider. This keeps billing, technical support, and platform accountability transparent.

Who pays for the subscription?+

The client business subscribes directly. Your firm does not pay a platform license for participating clients.

How does our firm earn revenue?+

Your firm receives a share of subscription revenue from the active client businesses it introduces. Revenue-share percentages increase by partner tier and will be confirmed in the partner agreement.

Who provides client support?+

Sumung handles product billing and technical platform support. Your firm continues to provide the accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or advisory services it separately agrees with the client.

Does our firm retain access to each client?+

Yes. One of the three included user seats is reserved for the partner firm by default, allowing authorized team members to remain connected to the client’s financial workspace.

Does the partner version include Sumung Pro?+

Yes. Clients can subscribe to Sumung Pro, currently in Beta, which adds proactive summaries, cash-flow forecasting, scenario planning, and AI-assisted recommendations on top of Sumung Core. Beta capabilities are clearly labeled until production-ready.

Can clients leave or change accounting firms?+

The business owns its account and data relationship. If the professional relationship changes, access can be updated without forcing the business to rebuild its financial records elsewhere.
